John Sigona’s Pick of the Week: No Preservatives, No Sulfur, All Natural Dried Fruit

John Sigona’s Pick of the Week: No Preservatives, No Sulfur, All Natural Dried Fruit

Excellent dried fruit & nut specials await you at Sigona’s everyday, at least 30, sometimes as many as 40 items per day.

John Sigona, our dried fruit and nut buyer.

These next two weeks, through March 8th, we’ve got some of my favorite and healthiest dried fruits on special. Four of my absolute favorite dried fruits come from my friends at a small, family farm in Central California.

My four favorites are the all natural, nothing added, dried:

  • All natural, nothing added—White Nectarines ——- 5.5 oz. container—regular $3.99 ——- $2.99 on sale
  • All natural, nothing added—Yellow Peaches ——- 5.5 oz. container—regular $3.99 ——- $2.99 on sale
  • All natural, nothing added—Bartlett Pears ——- 6.5 oz. container—regular $3.99 ——- $2.99 on sale
  • All natural, nothing added—Hachiya Persimmons ——- 9.5 oz container—regular $5.99 ——- $3.99 on sale

Using a proprietary drying method, the farm we work with takes great pride in “growing and processing suburb quality fruit [with NO Sulfur] and without using preservatives or additives of any kind, while maintaining color, texture and flavor never before achieved within the industry.” You’ve got to see and taste this dried fruit to really appreciate how truly unique it is.

In addition to these four fantastic fruits, we have two more examples of our specials, valid through March 8th. These again have no preservatives, NO sulfur and no additives of any kind:

  • Excellent, California Grown Jumbo Medjool Dates ——- 9 oz. container—regular $4.99 ——- $3.99 on sale
  • Organic, California Grown Red Flame Raisins ——- 10 oz. container—regular $2.99 ——- 99¢ on sale

Don’t miss out on these great items and many other terrific specials—we look forward to seeing you soon!

  2. and could not get enough of taste and sights. Bought some dried fruits, nuts and Guavas. Sadly you were out of goji/mulberry mix. I would love to find out if you ship out of state (ofcourse at cost) and with it maybe some new item sample (like chili lime mangoes – I loved it and apricots) to see what is new. Or should I just move there with my family!!!
Do you have a form or list with price to see what can be ordered?. Thanks and staff there is wonderful.
